„WE CAN DO IT MOANING“ ist eine Post-Porn-Clowning-Performance, ein unerhörtes Stöhnkonzert und ein Chor mit originellen Mitteln. Das Künstler*innenkollektiv ABA NAIA untersucht die unterschiedlichsten Arten des Stöhnens als feministische Neuinterpretation der Körpersprache.
Die Performerinnen Rafaella Marques und Emma Lusena Ash bringen ihr außerordentliches Wissen, ihre unerschöpflichen Körper und ihre Verletzlichkeit als politische Waffen auf die Bühne. Sie kämpfen gegen die Grenzen zwischen Heiterkeit und Unbehagen. Sie hinterfragen die Wahrnehmung von Freiheit, Selbstdarstellung, Gleichheit und Vergnügen. Sie untersuchen das Konzept einer „weiblichen Komik” durch Sexualität und begegnen Sexualität mit Komik:
„We moan because it moves us and we keep moving just because we moan. It's an embodied acoustic experience. It's a symphony!"
ABA NAIA ist ein feministisches Performance-Kollektiv aus Berlin, das an den Grenzen zwischen Theater, Performancekunst, Clownerie und Tanz arbeitet. 2017 gegründet, besteht das Kollektiv aktuell aus Kysy Fischer, Rafaella Marques und Jaika Bahr. In einem kontinuierlichen künstlerischen Prozess befassen sich ihre Arbeiten mit den Themen Sexualität, Absurdität, Humor, Bewusstseinsstrom, dem Scheitern und dem Widerstand gegen die faschistische Welle. Im Oktober 2023 wurde ABA NAIA für die Performance WE CAN DO IT MOANING mit dem interdisziplinären PorYes! Award im HAU Berlin ausgezeichnet.

“WE CAN DO IT MOANING” is a post-porn clowning performance, an audacious concert of moans, and a uniquely original choir. The artist collective ABA NAIA explores the diverse forms of moaning as a feminist reinterpretation of body language.
The performers Rafaella Marques and Emma Lusena Ash bring their extraordinary knowledge, their inexhaustible bodies, and their vulnerability to the stage as political weapons. They challenge the boundaries between cheerfulness and discomfort. They question perceptions of freedom, self-expression, equality, and pleasure. They explore the concept of “female comedy” through sexuality and confront sexuality with comicality:

WHO IS ABA NAIA?
ABA NAIA is a feminist performance collective based in Berlin that works at the intersection of theater, performance art, clowning, and dance. Founded in 2017, the collective currently consists of Kysy Fischer, Rafaella Marques, and Jaika Bahr. In an ongoing artistic process, their work explores themes of sexuality, absurdity, humor, stream of consciousness, failure, and resistance against the rise of fascism. In October 2023, ABA NAIA was honored with the interdisciplinary PorYes! Award at HAU Berlin for their performance WE CAN DO IT MOANING.
